A full retro anime sequence built by driving Blender via MCP with Claude Opus 5.5, then animating in Seedance 2.5 and cutting the final edit in DaVinci Resolve — also controlled by Opus 5.5. The result is a mech cockpit scene with that unmistakable late-80s cel-shaded look: flat orange suit, glowing blue HUD panels, chunky mechanical detail. The raw Blender geometry and the finished anime frame sit side by side, making the pipeline transparent. Opus 5.5 handled both the 3D asset generation and the video editing logic.

  • Claude Opus 5.5 drove Blender via MCP to generate the 3D mech geometry, then separately controlled DaVinci Resolve for the final edit
  • Seedance 2.5 converted the 3D renders into convincing late-80s retro anime frames with cel-shading and film grain
  • The post shows the raw Blender model alongside the finished anime frame, making the full AI-to-animation pipeline visible
