Clearwater — Real-Time 3D Water Simulation
Aurelien
@Aurelien_Gz · 21.2K followersClearwater is an open-source real-time 3D water renderer built with Claude Opus 5.5 and dropped as Aurelien's first public release. The demo shows a photorealistic water surface with dynamic light refraction, depth-based color shifting, and fluid wave motion — all running live in the browser. The project blew up so fast that people were asking to buy it before Aurelien open-sourced it. The full code is on GitHub, ready to fork and build on.
- Real-time 3D water with convincing light refraction and depth-based color gradients, all in the browser
- First open-source release from the creator — dropped after the original post went viral and fans wanted to buy it
- Built with Claude Opus 5.5; full source on GitHub so anyone can remix it
“opus 5.5 is something else.. so many people asked me to open source the 3d water from my last post. a few even wanted to buy it so here it is. my first open source drop code » https://github.com/Aureliengmz/clearwater demo » https://aureliengmz.github.io/clearwater/ show me what you make with it”
